| ON TRACK FOR SUCCESS AT HIP HF Developments
are delighted to formally hand over Babcock Rail's new training facility at Hamilton
International Park. The 70,000 sq ft centre furthers Babcock Rail's presence on
the Park, having first arrived at Hamilton International Park in 2005, when they
re-located from Glasgow to their new Regional Headquarters in Kintail House. Stephen
Lewis, Development Director at HF Developments, commented "We are delighted
to continue our relationship with Babcock Rail. The partnership approach that
we adopt with all of our occupiers across our sites is reflected in deals such
as this.
"Hamilton International Park has been the most successful
Enterprise Zone in Scotland, and we were able to use the incentives available
to tailor Babcock Rail a market leading deal. We fully recognise that the decision
to commit to a location is driven not just by the deal availablable but by a broad
range of location factors. The reasons for the Park's success is that it offers
modern, flexible, Grade A office accommodation, providing quality, excellent connectivity,
and excellent amenities all within an attractive landscaped environment.
"This,
coupled with the exceptional incentive packages available, has ensured the Park's
continued success, with over 4,200 people now located here."
Rodney
Ackland, Babcock International Group Property Manager, explained " Our experience
over the last four years since relocating the Babcock Rail HQ meant that the decision
to choose Hamilton International Park as the location for a new regional training
and operational contract centre was simplified. The financial package and existing
relationship with HF Developments cemented that decision."
"The
new centre will be partly used to train the next generation of engineers, and
is a visual demonstration of Babcock Rail's commitment to equipping their workforce
with the necessary skills to ensure they provide the best possible services to
their clients."
It is expected that the training centre will open
during November 2009. |
